How many devices can connect to the CU1128?

The CU1128 has 8 EtherCAT ports. The total number of devices depends on the network topology and EtherCAT master capabilities.

What is the power consumption of the CU1128?

The junction requires a 24V DC power supply. Actual consumption depends on connected devices and network load.

Does the CU1128 support DIN rail mounting?

Yes, the CU1128 is designed for standard DIN rail installation in control cabinets.

Can the CU1128 work with non-Beckhoff EtherCAT devices?

Yes, it supports any EtherCAT slave device conforming to the EtherCAT standard specification.

What is the purpose of using a junction instead of daisy-chain wiring?

Junctions enable branching topology, reducing cable runs and improving installation flexibility in distributed machine layouts.

Is real-time performance affected by using the CU1128?

No, the junction maintains real-time cycle-time determinism for all connected EtherCAT devices.

What is the data transfer rate?

EtherCAT operates at 100 Mbps per port with deterministic, low-latency communication.

Does the CU1128 require configuration?

Configuration is handled through Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 engineering environment. The junction auto-detects connected devices.
