What engine models does MN195622 fit?

This valve cover fits Mitsubishi Colt models with the 1.5L Z3B petrol engine (80 kW / 109 hp output).

Is this an original Mitsubishi part?

Yes, MN195622 is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part number from Mitsubishi.

Why would I need to replace a valve cover?

Valve cover gaskets degrade over time, causing oil leaks. Covers can also crack, compromising engine sealing. Replacement restores compression and prevents contamination.

What symptoms indicate a faulty valve cover?

Common signs include oil leaks around the cylinder head, burning oil smell, visible cracks in the cover, or oil seepage onto engine components.

Is installation difficult?

Valve cover replacement is a moderate DIY task for experienced mechanics. It typically requires removing spark plug wires, fasteners, and old gasket material, then sealing and torquing the new cover.

What gasket should I use?

Use a new OEM or quality aftermarket gasket designed for the Z3B engine. Do not reuse old gaskets, as they lose compression and elasticity.

Will this fit other Mitsubishi models?

This part is specific to Colt models with the Z3B 1.5L engine. Cross-compatibility with other Mitsubishi models should be verified with a parts catalog.
